Reunited by their first album in 14 years, Big Country released The Journey. The band will feature new frontman Mike Peters, friend of original lead singer Stuart Adamson, who sadly committed suicide in 2001. The ‘80s Scottish rock group will include Peters as well as co-founder Bruce Watson, longtime drummer Mark Brzezicki, bassist Derek Forbes from Simple Minds, and guitarist Jamie Watson. It’s been over a decade since the group toured together in the U.S. Now, Big Country are headed to the States and will be performing June 6 at Asbury Park’s Wonder Bar, June 7 at Manhattan’s Gramercy Theatre, and June 8 at The Paramount in Huntington, NY.
