Ola Podrida: Not Ready To Stop

As a seasoned soundtrack writer, David Wingo brings a cinematic sensibility to indie folk under the moniker of Ola Podrida. Ghosts Go Blind, his third LP, was released this April. In contrast with the bedroom recordings that comprise his first two releases, Wingo and his band recorded this album live, bringing forth a streak of newly electrifying energy in his ever-intimate songs. Podrida will stop May 17 at Brooklyn’s Rock Shop, May 18 at Manhattan’s Cake Shop, and May 19 at Hoboken’s Maxwell’s.
