After the many inevitable break-ups and reformations of their four-decade career, British progressive rock band Renaissance convened once again for the creation of their first new studio album in 12 years, Grandine Il Vento. The album was recorded shortly before principle composer and guitarist Michael Dunford passed away last November, and this recent tour marks Renaissance’s first live appearance since this tragic event. The band will play at the Infinity Music Hall in Norfolk, CT on April 10, the Strand Center For The Arts in Lakewood on April 13, and the Levoy Theatre in Millville on April 14. Their current six-piece lineup is led as usual by legendary vocalist Annie Haslam.
