With a rugged, blues-driven sound, Mission South debuted the second album to their three-part series this week. After Migration, Vol. 1 in September 2012, Migration, Vol. 2 was released on April 9. The roots/rock trio emerged out of Washington, D.C. and their first EP delivers gritty guitar riffs, soulful basslines, slow and steady drums, and smooth vocals. The second volume includes six tracks that notably stand out while fitting into the cohesive trilogy. To promote their new EP, Mission South kicked off their 50-date tour this March and can be found April 11 at Sullivan Hall in New York.
