Alfa: Out To The Coast

With a background in both classical and Filipino folk music, singer-songwriter Alfa takes an offbeat approach to irresistible pop folk tunes. She currently has five releases to her name, the most recent of these being January’s World Go Blue, an album inspired by her 2011 move to Los Angeles. Alfa has been praised for her signature vocals, modest with a bit of a raspy edge, and her observant lyricism. She is currently on a U.S. college tour in support of World Go Blue and will perform on April 15 at Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan.
