Over the course of seven years and four albums, Vancouver art rock band Mother Mother have mastered both chart success and a degree of eclecticism usually reserved for the marginal. With stylings ranging from light folk to wacky pop, a dynamic balance between male and female vocals, and a propensity for turning things topsy-turvy, they have gained a huge following in their native Canada. Their latest album, The Sticks, was released last September, and it’s yet another example of their fearless approach to music-making. Mother Mother will play at The Studio At Webster Hall on March 21 and Atlantic City’s House Of Blues on March 23.
