Holland musician Johannes Sigmond was in several bands before deciding to go solo in 2006. Aware of a rather unknown cyclist in Holland in the 1970s by the name of Blaudzun, Sigmond decided to write and perform under the same name a year later. By 2008, he released his debut album and followed with his sophomore record in 2009. Through different cities came different ideas, and the artist made up what will be his U.S. debut, Heavy Flowers. He’ll be supporting this album on March 10 at Bowery Electric in NYC. Tickets can be found online for $10.
