Since 2007, Cult Of Youth have been pounding out dark neo-folk with a grandeur of mythical proportions. Frontman Sean Ragon, who has a long history with DIY punk, industrial, and experimental music, is also the owner of a record store and label, both Brooklyn-based. Following the 2012 release of their third album, Love Will Prevail, the group’s inscrutable style has stirred up much interest, landing them on tours with such similarly dramatic acts as Zola Jesus, Cold Cave, and Iceage. Cult Of Youth will be playing at 285 Kent in Williamsburg on Saturday, March 2.
