Desaparecidos started out in 2001 as a side-project for Conor Oberst, frontman of the rock band Bright Eyes. The group released their first and only album, Read Music/Speak Spanish, in 2002. Desaparecidos will hit up the East Coast for the first time in 10 years on their upcoming three-week tour, and you can see them at The Stone Pony on Feb. 15. The show will be followed by a Union Transfer performance on Feb. 23, and two stints at Webster Hall on Feb. 26 and 27.
