A public pre-auction display of memorabilia from the Joey Ramone estate—a slew of the punk icon’s wardrobe pieces, stage gear, handwritten lyrics, and more—will be open from 5-7 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the Bowery Electric. A number of special guests will be in attendance, including his brother, Mickey Leigh, and Punk Magazine founder, John Holmstrom, who also illustrated the Ramones albums Rocket To Russia and Road To Ruin. Admission is free, and donations will be collected for the Joey Ramone Foundation For Lymphoma Research.
