DRGN King started out as a duo composed of music producer Bret Reynolds and Philly songwriter Dominic Angelella. The project soon expanded into a quartet in late 2010. The band’s experimentation led them into developing a psychedelic pop sound. Their first album, Paragraph Nights, was released on Jan. 22. They will hold two release shows, one in Philadelphia at the Philamoca on Feb. 2, and the other at the Glasslands in Brooklyn on Feb. 3. Tickets for the Philly show are $7-10 on philamoca.org, and $10 for the Brooklyn show on ticketfly.com.
