HAIM are three sisters from Los Angeles who might oddly remind a passerby of an inverted Hanson, and from the sound of things, they could reasonably climb to similar heights—they’re about as likely to get stuck in your head, like it or not. The small batch of tracks they’ve been floating around online are a potentially lethal take on ’80s synth pop, with spunky, emotive lead vocals and bristly harmonies lending an R&B twist. With hype for HAIM’s currently untitled 2013 debut a-churnin’, you have an inexpensive shot to see if they’re the real deal. Head to Music Hall Of Williamsburg on Dec. 15, where they’ll stop by once through with their sold-out tour in Europe. Tickets are $12.
