Led by singer-songwriter John McCauley, alt-country group Deer Tick has been appearing since 2004 with an ever-varying array of band members. Their perseverance and devotion to their gritty folk rock has paid off: they have released four full-length records to date and catered to a growing host of audiences in both the United States and Europe. Deer Tick will be at the Brooklyn Bowl as part of a residency on Dec. 12 performing songs from The Black Dirt Sessions and the Holy Shit It’s Christmas EP, and on Dec. 19 performing songs from Divine Providence and their Tim EP.
