Childhood friends Brad Arnold and Matt Roberts founded rock band 3 Doors Down in 1996. Merging influences from grunge, alternative and hard rock, 3 Doors Down produces intricate melodies and a guitar-driven sound perfectly displayed by their earliest and most popular single, “Kryptonite.” This single quickly rose to fame in the late ‘90s and due to the band’s success on the radio, Republic Records went on to sign them. 3 Doors Down released their most recent album in 2011, Time Of My Life, which deals with their past experiences and obstacles. See them live at Asbury Park Convention Hall on Nov. 30, The Paramount on Dec 3, and Caesars Atlantic City on Dec. 29.
