The Drowning Men, an indie folk quintet hailing from Oceanside, California, will be stopping by the Tri-State Area as part of their current tour. The band, which was originally formed by close friends Nato Bardeen, Rory Dolan and James Smith, released their sophomore album, All Of The Unknown, this past July. The disc utilizes atmospheric riffs and solemn guitar effects in a manner that will provide a stronger connection with the listener. Their popularity has skyrocketed in the past few months, and they’ll now be supporting All Of The Unknown locally. Check them out on Oct. 23 at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park, Oct. 24 at Milkboy in Philly, and Oct. 27 at NYC’s Mercury Lounge.
