Experimental Brooklyn doomers Bezoar released their debut CD, Wyt Deth, over the summer. The record, also available in a limited vinyl run, is a collection that alternates between beautiful melodies and freakout bombasts, songs like “Friend Of My Enemy” nestling into a groove only after “Vitamin B” and the lurching ‘90s eclecticism of “Life On A Cross” have defiled expectations of what might come next. What comes next for Bezoar is a gig Oct. 11 at Public Assembly in their native borough with Tee Pee Records’ own Weird Owl and headliners The Phantom Family Halo, whose last album was aptly-titled Mindeater.
