Illinois natives Planes Mistaken For Stars are finally coming out of isolation to embark on a tour through the U.S. this year. The legendary post-hardcore band was originally formed in 1997 with their aggressive style and new sound. Among some of theirs stops at the beginning of their tour are New York and New Jersey. You can catch them throwing down on Aug. 8 at the Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, and then again at Maxwell’s in Hoboken on Aug. 9. Both shows should be aerodynamically ass-kicking!
