Pomegranates: Indie Heaven

Pomegranates, the indie rock band hailing from Cincinnati, are scheduled to play the Mercury Lounge in New York on July 27. The quartet recently released their fourth album, Heaven, on June 5. Pomegranates consistently have a light sound that moves fluidly across the album. The lyrics are thoughtfully written about love, life, and everything in between that could fit into anyone’s own personal soundtrack. Hard work and dedication are evident characteristics of this band, as they’ve released four albums in a matter of four years, and I firmly believe they are not stopping anytime soon.
