New Jersey indie rock band Bottle Cap Rockets are playing three shows in New York this summer. Before their formation in 2009, singer-songwriter Al Gross sold his works to Universal Music, who used his songs on shows such as Monk and Cold Case. Bass player Chris Wolfe and drummer Yuergen Renner joined Gross. Since then, they have created a unique sound inspired by The Beatles, ZZ Top and Neil Young. On July 7 they’re playing Bar East in New York. Their next show in New York is at the Ella Lounge on July 20. On August 18, they play The Red Star in Brooklyn.
