Psychedelic pop group Beat Connection are playing in Brooklyn at the Knitting Factory on July 5. This Seattle-based group began when Jordan Koplowitz and Reed Juenger met in college during their freshman year at the University Of Washington. It started off as a mutual appreciation for music, and continued to a band filled with passion. In 2012 they’ve added two more members and released their first full-length album, The Palace Garden. Their indie/psychedelic music is full of harmonies and gentle guitars. Similar artists such as White Arrows, Teen Daze and Rioux will be playing as well. Tickets are $12.
