Dr. Acula: Dawn Of The Dead

The Long Island-based hardcore band, Dr. Acula, is touring the U.S. this summer. The six members of the group, which includes two vocalists and two guitarists, make for an interesting combination, as they draw upon influences from hip-hop to metal. In 2011, they put out their first record, Slander, on Victory Records. Dr. Acula’s new release, Nation, came out on June 19 and the title-track single has gotten a good response thus far. On June 25, they are scheduled to play at Championships in Trenton and on June 26, they’ll be playing at Webster Hall.
