The Drowning Men will be playing at Maxwell’s, in Hoboken, on May 30. The California quintet is characterized by their indie tunes and funky rhythms. The band was formed in 2005 while all of its members have been close friends for quite some time. What first started as a fun endeavor has turned into a success story. The Drowning Men have played with big name bands such as Flogging Molly and many more. At the show in Hoboken, they will be joined by River City Extension. Doors open at 7 p.m.; tickets are $15.
