IFC darlings and lifelong devotees at the First Church Of Ennio Morricone, psychedelic cowboys Spindrift are headed east for a spate of shows on their latest national run. They spent much of last year on the road in Europe and are currently signed to Xemu Records, AKA Dead Meadow’s label. Donning full Western regalia, Spindrift will hit Philly’s North Star Bar on May 10, Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery on May 11 and Manhattan’s Lit Lounge on May 12, completing a trifecta of area places that are inconvenient for people from Jersey to get to. It’s cool. They’re worth the trip, even at four bucks a gallon.
