Lights: The Universal Method

Lights was born in Ontario to missionary parents and spent her childhood traveling the world. After gaining insights into various different cultures, she decided to express herself through a universal method—music. She composed songs for the television series Instant Star and went on to become a distinguished electronic musician. Today, Lights is celebrating her sophomore album, Siberia, with a U.S. tour. One of her stops is at the Irving Plaza, in New York, on April 20. Tickets are $18; show starts at 8 p.m.
