Jerry Gaskill, drummer for legendary rockers KING’S X, and longtime Highlands resident returned home on March 21 after suffering a heart attack Sunday, February 26. Jerry was in intensive care for 2 weeks. In the aftermath of his heart attack Jerry faces staggering medical bills, so on Friday, March 23, 2012, a “Benefit Concert for Jerry Gaskill” will be held at the Saint, 601 Main Street, Asbury Park, New Jersey. Doors Open at 7:30. Many special guests will be joining Cherry Suede and The Dan Reed Band, including Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal, guitarist of Guns ‘N Roses and bassist, J.D. DeServio from Black Label Society.
