The Yardbirds: Long Bounce Back

The Yardbirds, pioneers of guitar distortion and the group that went on to spawn Led Zeppelin, are still active two decades after their reformation. Few groups have undergone as many lineup changes as The Yardbirds have, but that hasn’t stopped the current lineup of Andy Mitchell, Ben King, Chris Dreja, David Smale, and Jim McCarty from rocking hard. Together with Vanilla Fudge, they’ve booked two shows in our area. On Feb. 3, they’ll be at Irving Plaza for a 7:00 p.m. show, and on Feb. 9 they’ll hit New Brunswick’s State Theater at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices vary.
