The Static Jacks have possessed an undying originality since their formation in 2009. Far from mainstream, their music is a distinct fusion of multiple genres, including punk-rock, indie and soul. They have played alongside big name groups Tokyo Police Club and The Futureheads. The four-piece New Jersey band can take full credit for their success; they write their own songs and design their own album artwork and merchandise. Don’t miss The Static Jacks’ performance at The Music Hall Of Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, on Jan. 19. Tickets are $20; doors open at 8 p.m.
