Palisades is about to be a second year OTV band, but the difference with them is that they’ve finally broken “over the verge.” They recently got signed to Rise Records and are under Outerloop Management. The band used to be called Marilyn is Dead, but after losing their front man, Alex Farkas, they gained ex-Pathway to Providence vocalist Lou Miceli and decided they needed a name change. On Jan. 15, they’re playing Ice Jam, a predominantly post-hardcore festival with bands such as Silverstein, August Burns Red, I See Stars and Texas In July.
