Indie rockers Fort Lean weren’t always the prestigious musicians they are today. In fact, guitarist Zach Fried was a licensed real estate broker and drummer Sam Ubl was an elementary school teacher. Their newly assembled band just hit the music scene in early 2011. However, they have already made their mark with catchy singles “Perfect” and “High Definition.” Their music is composed of intricate indie melodies and lyrics that embody emotions of both hope and despair. Fort Lean will be at Music Hall Of Williamsburg, in Brooklyn, on Dec. 16. Doors open at 8 p.m.; tickets are $13.
