The indie rock duo, High Places, originated in Brooklyn in 2006 and has been climbing the ladder of success ever since. With over 10 releases behind them, they have already been established as a prominent indie band. They are currently celebrating the release of their newest album, Original Colors, which features funky beats and pop-influenced melodies. Singer Mary Pearson’s vocals are pure, soulful, and somewhat eccentric. High Places will be performing at Glasslands, in Brooklyn, on Nov. 18. Tickets are $10; doors open at 8 p.m.
