Watching guitarist and underground metal legend Scott “Wino” Weinrich play in-person is like watching history in the flesh. The Saint Vitus frontman and central figure behind The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan, The Hidden Hand and his own Wino solo band will be bringing his latest project, Premonition 13 to the coincidentally-named Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn on Nov. 17 in support of their Volcom debut, 13. Fresh off his acoustic solo record, Premonition 13 is squeezing in this tour before Weinrich moves on to recording the next installment from the supergroup Shrinebuilder. Also on the bill are Vitus-worshipers The Gates Of Slumber, Mount Olympus and Brooklyn’s own Kings Destroy, who are reportedly hard at work on a new album. Tickets $12, show starts at 8 p.m.
