Fifteen years ago, Fueled By Ramen started in a college dorm room. Now, the record label has offices in Tampa, FL, and New York City, and is representing some of the leading bands in the music industry, from Paramore, Panic! At The Disco and Cobra Starship. The label, which has always been geared towards hardworking bands, has grown into a community full of people passionate about the music. The release of some of the earlier Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard and Fall Out Boy albums helped launch the label into the spotlight. Fueled By Ramen are all for bands being hands on when it comes to how they are marketed and how they present themselves.
To celebrate the label’s anniversary, a three-day music extravaganza that features some of the bands on the label has been planned in their honor. The festival, which will be taking place at Terminal 5, will start on Sept. 7 and end on Sept. 9. On Sept. 7 the lineup includes: Paramore, Fun., The Swellers and This Providence, who will be performing an acoustic set. Sept. 8 features Sublime With Rome, Gym Class Heroes, The Stereo and Recover. The final night, Sept. 9, the lineup includes: Cobra Starship, The Academy Is…, A Rocket To The Moon and VersaEmerge.
