Indie-dance band Friendly Fires has been lighting up dance floors all over the world. Believe it or not, the trio responsible for creating melodic-electro hits “Jump In The Pool,” “Skeleton Boy” and “Paris” in 2008 from their self-titled debut got their musical start creating instrumental post-hardcore music. Since their 2008 release, the trio has dropped their sophomore record, Pala, last May of 2011 opening the album with “Live Those Days Tonight,” a bubbly pool party anthem. Sweat off some calories by checking out Friendly Fires as they dance the day away in New York on Aug. 7 to perform a free show at Central Park’s Summer Stage with The Naked And Famous and Cults.
