They claim they were the ones that brought flannel and beards back to Brooklyn’s “indie-hipster” culture. The Loom is a sextet folk-chamber band blending together harmonious unisex vocals, horns, guitars, banjo, ukulele, keys and percussion. In 2008, the band released their debut EP, At Last Light, leading them to tour the U.S. and Canada performing at Pop Montreal and CMJ 2008 and 2009. In the winter of 2010, the band completed their full-length album, Teeth, which will be released later this year.
