When you’re looking for a little bit of garage-psych mixed with some early Velvet Underground, look for Black Angels. With to the help of Dave Sardy, this Austin-based group, led by Alex Maas and helped out by Stephanie Bailey, Christian Bland, Kyle Hunt, and Nate Ryan, just put out their newest, Phosphene Dream, and they’re preaching a sound that’s more song based, with shorter pieces that hit even harder. The show will be at Music Hall of Williamsburg on April 9, with doors opening at 8 p.m. and tickets going for $20.
