ASCAP NY: Bring Your Ideas To Life

Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Hermansen, better known as the songwriting duo Stargate, will be joined by DJ Sandy Vee at ASCAP’s one-day career event on Thursday, March 31, at the Kaufmann Concert Hall at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan. Dubbed the ASCAP New York Sessions, members from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers will discuss how they take an idea for a song and launch it to the top of the charts, amongst many other topics. Along with Vee, the duo has created blockbuster hits such as Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable.” Kerry Brothers will also join them and tickets for this special event start at $55.
