The contentious rock/funk band Here Come The Mummies will be performing their first NYC show on Saturday, March 26, at Irving Plaza. The band, who dress up as mummies on stage, has concealed their identities since they started in 2000. Their fifth and latest album, Carnal Carnival, came out late last year and they primarily sing about sex and love. Consisting of three trumpeters, five vocalists and three sax members, they’re known for their exceptional live shows. Tickets start at $21 and the show, which is bound to be electrifying, begins at 8 p.m.
