The 21st annual Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert will be held on Thursday, March 3, at Carnegie Hall. The Roots, Patti Smith, James McCartney and The Flaming Lips are just a few of the performers that will be celebrating the Tibetan New Year. For 21 years, the consistently sold-out show has assembled some of the biggest names in music. Each year, the concert commemorates the Monlam Prayer Festival, which drew vast numbers of monks, citizens and pilgrims from all over the country who gathered to pray for world peace and prosperity. Tickets start at $33 and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
