Brooklyn black metallers Liturgy blend the hypnotic elements of psychedelia into one of the most extreme sounds mankind has yet concocted. They call it “transcendental black metal,” and while it may or may not free your spirit, you can rest assured you’ll be too drawn in by the cacophony to look away. On Feb. 25 they’ll be at 285 Kent in Brooklyn working out songs for their second full-length, due out before the summer. Also on the bill are Talk Normal, Nat Baldwin and Cavex. Show is all ages, $10, 8 p.m.
