Though time travel still hasn’t been invented, Japanese rock legends X Japan have figured out a way to do just that. The Asian version of Queen meets Kiss is able to recreate their early days by playing small, intimate venues on their first ever tour in the U.S. The purpose of the tour is to prepare for an English-language album coming in 2011. The band’s fan base in their country is extensive, having sold the 55,000-seat Tokyo Dome 18 times, setting the record. Known for their dramatic stages, the group is sure to captivate audiences. Relive the glory days of X Japan at Roseland Ballroom on Oct. 10. Tickets start at $51. 7 p.m.
