Originally trying their hand at hardcore-punk back in the early 1980s, Corrosion Of Conformity wound up crafting an original sound of heavy metal intertwined with Southern rock. The group has had an on and off again relationship spanning the past few decades, but their explosive guitar riffs akin to the likes of Pantera, have kept them afloat. Already having announced their tour, Corrosion Of Conformity decided to add a few more shows to the list and lucky for heavy metal fans out there, the Highline Ballroom in NYC on Oct. 10 has been included. Tickets are $20. 8 p.m.
