New Jersey’s own influential jazz-fusion guitarist, Al Di Meola, known best for his work during the ‘70s with Chick Corea’s band, Return To Forever, has come back to the electric guitar recently after a brief hiatus due to hearing loss. The Bergen County resident focused on his acoustic guitar skills, and now blends his mastery of both kinds of guitar together in new releases. Di Meola has spent the better part of this year touring with his World Sinfonia band around the world, but is returning to the United States this month for a few dates close to home. Catch him June 25 at Highline Ballroom. Tickets are $35.
