With all these electronic bands out now, it’s hard to figure out who’s who with all of these contagious ProTooled melodies going around. NYC transplants Sweet Electra stand out from the symphony of dial tones by having soulful vocals and not sounding like The Postal Service. Nice! Originally from Mexico, vocalist Nardiz Cooke and guitarist/programmer Giovanni Escalera take their bilingual electronic tunes and mix them with an indie rock sound to create a unique celestial sound.
