Hellogoodbye, from Long Beach, California, hit the big time in January 2007 with their song “Here (In Your Arms),” an auto-tuned catastrophe that fit snuggly among the other auto-tuned catastrophes of the Top 40. That was off their 2006 dork smorgasbord, Zombies, Aliens, Vampires, Dinosaurs! On their newest record, When We First Met, they’ve opted for happy-go-lucky songs drenched in charm, ukulele and self-awareness. They play with New Found Glory and Saves the Day at Irving Plaza, Feb. 18, 6 p.m., 16-plus, House Of Blues, Feb. 19, 6 p.m., $25, all ages, and Starland Ballroom, Feb. 20, 6 p.m, $21, all ages. hellogoodbye.net.
