The third annual The Sound And The Jury Contest is up and running in its first round. Another online Battle Of The Bands contest, it’s one of those “how many of your friends can you get to vote for you” deals, but the prizes aren’t bad: $1,500, trip to Austin, get an opening slot and say you played Austin City Limits, some guest spots, and a Dell laptop. Not bad.
