According to what is rapidly becoming a celebrity deathwatch site, TMZ has reported that John Hughes is dead today at the age of 59 from an apparent heart attack while on a morning walk. The director of The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off was essentially retired and had been living away from the public eye for roughly the last 20 years.
