Known for a complex blend of post-hardcore and progressive rock, Boston natives The Dear Hunter have just dropped Act III: Life And Death, the third installment in a six-album project about the life and death of a boy in the early 20th century. The album was produced by frontman Casey Crescenzo, who adorned the songs with orchestral arrangements worthy of the WWI-era storyline.
You can witness the band’s epic live show as they support mewithoutYou on Thursday, July 9 at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, July 10 at Bowery Ballroom at 8 p.m. The shows are 16-plus and 18-plus, respectively.
