We Are The Woods have a haunting yet enchanting sound that is provided by two folky females and one country gentleman: Jessica Murphy, Marcia Webb and drummer Tyler Beckwith. Their album, Eight Belles, is full of heart-aching, folk pop that entangles the listener with their soulful roots and refuses to let them go. The group will be performing on the second stage of the Rockwood Music Hall on Sept. 24. The show is free, 21+ and doors are at 6:30 p.m., with the band going on at about 7 p.m.
